2022 Autism Beach Bash
Sunday September 11th, 2022The AFSNJ Autism Beach Bash is held each summer on the 7th Ave. beach in Belmar, NJ and features a surf camp with Surfer’s Healing, a California based nonprofit specializing in working with children with special needs.
Autism Beach Bash
The Annual Autism Beach Bash remains the largest gathering in NJ of individuals with autism and their families. Families also attended from surrounding states such as New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.
This year, due to COVID-19, our event will be virtual which also means that anyone in the world can attend Autism Beach Bash! We know it’s not the same as being out there on the beach with the sun, surf and sand, but your health and safety is our utmost priority. For that reason, we are hosting our event online, because the show must go on! Be prepared for guest appearances from all your Beach Bash favorites as well as fun, interactive segments for kids of all ages-right from the comfort of your own home! This event is crucial to raising over 100k for all the essential services we provide to those affected by Autism in New Jersey. Join us on Sunday, September 13th, 2020 to have fun while supporting Autism Family Services of New Jersey!

“Here at Surfers Healing, our mission is to enrich the lives of people living with autism by exposing them to the unique experience of surfing.
On the surface, our contribution seems simple: each year, our volunteer-staffed camps give over 4,500 children with autism and their families a fun, engaging day at the beach.”
